Its great to see the process of making book covers, they can be so important! I know they always make me pick up a book!

Ooh looks good Jen! Still waiting to read Bite Marks. It seems that no book shops in my area are stocking it. I’m thinking I’ll just order it online. But very nice look for the new cover. Can’t wait to see the final product.

I’m such a lazy fan! I haven’t commented on here in ages!
    Sorry, Jen ):

    But that shoot looks awesome!
    :D

I’m still waiting for Bite Marks.
Hopefully I’ll have it next week (: ♥

omg ive just finished bite marks and you are already giving me heart palpitations of anticipation. :P

oh how i loved BM! i really loved all the stuff about kangaroos, made me laugh. coz so many people think our native animals are so cute and cuddly looking and in reality they are crafty dangerous mofo’s.
i really enjoyed your interoperation of australia, while it was specific with the landscapes you didnt make the local people sound like over the top nut jobs which some people seem to do… also you added local colloquialisms but you didnt do the over the top phonetical spelling to get the accent, i appreciated that :)

i also laughed myself stupid at the gerard butler comments, my mother once came into the room asking what the hell i could possibly be laughing at so hard. nomnomnom.

i was so devo when it was over, i read it impossibly slow so it wouldnt end so soon and when id done i was so sad. but this post has made me SUPER excited for the next installment in the jaz adventures! cant wait to see the final cover as well :D

It’s great! It’s so much fun to be able to see the work-in-progress, and I can’t wait to see what comes out of it all. Just one little thing: the article says they’re working on the Fall/Winter covers. Does that mean we have to wait a WHOLE YEAR? I don’t know if I’d survive!

I do believe covers are key, Sophie, and that I’m blessed to be working with such talented professionals at Orbit!

    I’m with you, Amanda!

I’m disappointed to hear that, Bec. If you’d like me to contact them, just give me their information and I’ll be happy to.

Great to hear from you, Taylor! Hope you enjoy the story!

Lovely to hear, Lauren. If you want to get into spoiler detail, we also have a Bite Marks discussion forum at http://www.jenniferrardin.net/?p=947&cpage=1#comment-6123

Yes, Vale. Last I heard, “Bitten in Two” wasn’t scheduled to release until January 2011.
