If you haven’t read Biting the Bullet, stop right now.  I may let a spoiler or two slip, and I don’t want you to be bummed out knowing too much before you get to the end of the book.  Okay?  Okay.

For those of you who are ready for book four, I wanted to talk a little bit about what you have to look forward to.  We’ll call it a book trailer without the cool graphics and music.  But maybe you could hum a few bars while you’re reading the rest of this post.  Yeah, that would be good.  Might I suggest something rockin’ from the Killers?

Remember where we left Dave at the end of Biting the Bullet?  Alive, but just?  Imagine our Special Ops stud, trying to work out the fact that he’d basically been made into Pinocchio.  Forced to betray everything he believed in.  Everyone he cared the most about.  What do you reckon that would do to a guy’s head?

 Um, yeah.

So, I didn’t think I could just leave him there.  Which is why he figures largely in Bitten to Death.  Sometimes he helps.  Sometimes not.  But we can pretty much say that about all our heroes in this one.  Did you really expect it to go smoothly?  They are operating in the heart of a Vampere Trust after all.  Pretty gnarly territory, even for kickass characters like our faves.  Hope you’re loving the action beginning to end!
