Shocking New Post from Yours Truly!

Thought I should get it out there right up front. I was, shall we say, “in a mood” when I wrote this blog for Philip Palmer’s website. Lemme know what you think!

    Wow, very interesting Jen! You do seem to have put serious thought into it anyway!

    Never thought about those lyrics before (never really could make out what they were) but your interpretation sounds far more exciting than the other options!

    Hey Jennifer
    That review was a-ok, I thought you where going 2 “R-I-P” them a new one & shred that song to bits. Besides since you’ve been to NOLA it would be a Voodoo doll & pins…
    I love the Killers, but…yes there’s a butt, I ‘m sorry to say that I really disliked that song. The first time I heard it I thought “what the F- crap is this”??? Give me “Shadowplay”,”Smile like you mean it”, or my fav “Mr. Brightsides” & I’m a happy camper.
    I did however think it was about aliens just because the band is from Las Vegas,the white tiger (from the Mirage),them out in a desert setting (the whole area 51 thing) extra.
    Yes! Scone’s with clotted cream (cream cheese will do just fine) & raspberry jam…sounds good.
    Thanks :}

    Jennifer, I am cheering you wildly, while my inner nerd is (sorry Lola but I can’t help myself here) briefing the flying monkeys to go find Lola because of *that* apostrophe… I know, I know, I am “sew meen” and will go away and think about “what I did” but ARGHHH lol.
    Ah scones, small rounds of doughy perfection, or verily, even squares, what would we do without thee? Shall I compare thee to a Summer’s Day? (I’ll stop now lol, I just had a “my nanna’s scones” moment, closely followed by a “nanna’s gingerbread” moment.. I shall go now and commune with my cake tin…

    Lol! Nice…..and kinda creepy. Creepy, only because I watched They Live on tv today.

    Huh. Is giving us something to think about in your job description? Well, if not, it should be. I certainly have something to think about now. Thank you! :-)

    lol :-D interesting view! I had that feeling they were pointing to some other race when I first heard the song!
