Happy Halloween!
Okay, youz guyz, no matter where you are in the world, it’s time to get your spook on! And to help get you in the spirit, I’ve written a little ditty I like to call Zombie Jamboree. Check it out over at The League of Reluctant Adults. Hope it gets you right in the BOO mood!

Oh sweet. Sadly I’m sick and not going to school or going out to soap houses =[

The glass of mead and the plate of food goes out for the ancestors tonight and then Im hiding in the flat as I don’t want to have to answer the door to kids. It wouldnt be so bad if it was six to ten year olds but I get 17+ knocking on my door demanding money.
Then when they work out who to opens and gives they then come back in a little under a week to demand more money for their Guy for bonfire night.

So glad you liked it, ZitaH!
What a bummer, Gareth! We get teens too, but all they want is candy. And we find them quite hilarious. But then, we’ve still got one at home.

I’m taking the Little Guy trick or treating before going to a Halloween party. And then begins NaNoWriMo. I considered starting at the party. ; )

Halloween is rubbish in the UK, not enough people get into it. I am glad that where we live now the kids are all nice village kids, dressed up and polite. Makes me happy to help rot their teeth.

Yay, tick or treating is so fun when you go with friends…even if you are a bit old for it. ^^
My mom made me am AWESOME costume this year, but I didn’t wear it out for fear or destorying it. I was a pirate, twice ^^

Trick or treating is not big here in Germany; we took the kids (well, my friends kids as I’m merely a tourist) out around the neighborhood and gave out candy, and carved pumpkins, it was the most fun I’ve had for Halloween in a long time!

Ooh. Loved the ditty. Very goosebump-inducing with a creepy ending. Hope I win the book because I have eaten some crazy *ss stuff in my life.

Liked the story.
There were a few trick or treaters out, but nobody came down our drive, mind you the iron gates may have detered them (they keep the ducks out too).

A wonderfully disturbing little story. I liked it.
As for Halloween, I did nothing this year. A friend and I went to a movie (not a horror one, either) instead. It was a good time.

I enjoyed the story a lot!
Even though I had to read it in french (because I’m French) it was great but it would be even better reading it in english.

Jackie B, that sounds fun. My little guy (who’s 16) went trick-or-treating with about seven of his friends dressed as the Roxbury Guys (complete with background music; if you’re not familiar here’s a youtube sample–http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8UdYd1HgG8&feature=related). All they did was ring the doorbell, cue the music, and then bob their heads. Hilarious!! NaNoWriMo sounds intriguing, but as I’m just about to finish “Bite Marks” and move into edit mode, the timing is wrong for me. Maybe I’ll hold my own version in a couple of months!
Adele, I think we definitely contributed to the wealth of local dentists too! Much candy was distributed from here Halloween night! (One little girl came to the door, wouldn’t talk though her mom kept urging her to. Then I crouched down beside her and said, “Would you like some chocolate?” And she said, “Yes!” That was the only word we got out of her!)
Kuroi-Ryo, homemade costumes are the best, don’t you think?
Marissa, I’m not sure I’d like to spend Halloween anywhere else other than America, because it sounds like we do it up bigger than most. So I’m glad to hear you managed a good time!
Yeah, Roxanne, I think your menu definitely wins the prize! Glad you liked the story!
Iron gates would give me pause, too, Penny. Although I might take a second to click off a picture. They sound kinda gothic, which I like.
As long as you’re having fun, Shannon!
I’m glad you liked it, Claire! Maybe someday we’ll get our Jaz Parks French translator, Jean-Noel (who’s a wonder) to do a freebie on that story. But not before a rewrite. I’ve got a couple more little details to add before I release it to the world again.

Wow. I’m impressed. An author who actually responds to fan comments! I suddenly finding myself liking your series even more than I already did! Eagerly anticipating the next!

Yeh, Peach, not trying to speak for everyone here, but we really love that about her. And the fan community, they’re great, too, imho. I’m so at home here and at Jenn’s other sites. Hope you like it here, too.

Woohoo, gtpeach! Glad you’re thoroughly hooked and enjoying the convo!
Aww, Roxanne, too cool of you to say. Still glad you said it tho!

Yes, definitely. I keep trolling the bookstore, going through, saying, “Oh gosh! It isn’t out yet! Darn it Now what do I read???” Lol!!

Me too! Naw, by the time I’m done with these puppies I’ve got them pretty much memorized, so there’s no need for rehashing. But January will be here before we know it!
