Writing Day

Through a fortuitous set of circumstances I get to spend the whole Saturday curled up on the couch writing.  I’ve been working on the edit of book four of the Jaz Parks series, Bitten to Death, and have added a scene I’m really enjoying.  It’s pretty gross actually.  Icky, corpse-sucking creatures.  But there’s an odd sort of humor to the scene as well.  Hard to explain.  I think you’re just going to have to read it to understand what I mean.  These are the days I wish you were here, peeking over my shoulder, so I could look up and see your faces.  Ah well, I suppose the best gratification is the delayed type.  I’m off to the slime mines!
