Coming in October!

oncebittentwiceshy-mm.jpgI’m Jaz Parks. My boss is Vayl, born in Romania in 1744. Died there too, at the hand of his vampire wife, Liliana. But that’s ancient history. For the moment Vayl works for the C.I.A. doing what he does best—assassination. And I help. You could say I’m an Assistant Assassin. But then I’d have to kick your ass.

Our current assignment seemed easy. Get close to a Miami plastic surgeon named Assan, a charmer with ties to terrorism that run deeper than a buried body. Find out what he’s meeting with that can help him and his comrades bring America to her knees. And then close his beady little eyes forever. Why is it that nothing’s ever as easy as it seems?

I just read a review copy from Orbit and loved it!
Can’t wait to post my review! (They’d like me to wait till the release date.)

Awesome! I’m really looking forward to reading it. And thanks for taking the trouble to let me know how you felt. You made my week!

I have it on my list to purchase as soon as it comes out.

I have to admit that the covers and odd size of the books caught my eye. Then flipping through a few pages to read pieces like I usually do when checking out something to read, I was hooked.

I couldn’t even wait to finish Alex Archer’s Rogue Angel series I was reading, I shelved those books with a wince and jumped into the first Jaz Parks book, reading it as soon as I got home from work until late that night. Which I did the next two nights as well to books 2 and 3.

Tonight I’m going to jump into book 4, and probably yell, cheer, and laugh as much as I did with the other three!
Only tonight when I finish I will be pouting that I don’t have a book 5 to look forward to tomorrow night! Though my roommates might get a decent nights sleep, :p.

I know that she wrote that vampire books have been done already, but Lady, not in the way she has written these, and I have read and collected a lot of vampire books. Minus Ann Rice and Twilight, but I’m not going to go into why on that here.

This is, without a doubt, a series of books I will reread quite a few times. (Probably starting Friday, *grin*)

Oh! I just want to walk up to my boss and tell him I got to go home for some reason, just so I could get a jump start and read book 4 now!

    *watches the clock*

All I can say, zanheltangia, is wahoo! You’re just the kind of reader I love writing for! Can’t wait to hear what you think of ‘One More Bite.’ And it won’t be long now…

*laughs* And I did end up leaving early.

I loved it! Though I got confused at one point (doesn’t have the book with her or she would be flipping through the pages now).

There was a part where Vayl talks about his diamond mine that he was going to take Jaz to. I thought he was going to take her to one of the three Gold mines that he had won in the famous card game.

Am I totally off my rocker?

Other than that I would be taking up more than just my lunch time to cheer and giggle over my favorite parts.

I’ll probably pop on tonight to get more specific. *grin*
